Card Play: a BridgePrimer
 This is an 8 week introductory course which teaches the fundamentals of card play at Bridge.

You will learn:

  • How to play MiniBridge (a simplified version of Bridge without the bidding)
  • How to evaluate the strength of your hand
  • How the scoring works
  • How to plan the play of the hand
  • What card to lead and why
  • What the cards you play tells your partner about your hand!
  • Bridge 'etiquette'
This course provides a firm foundation for our other 'First Steps' courses which cover all aspects of Bridge bidding.
The full course lasts approximately 30 weeks but is split into modules of between 4 and 8 weeks each.
Bridge 'First Steps' is a new approach to teaching Bridge which has been developed by 
     Ian & Julie Grant
